Brown Photographic Archive,(389 clicks)
" The photographs are from Mr.
Brown's lifetime collection of original photographs, postcards,
advertisements, news articles, and other items which chronicle the
history of Ames, Iowa. This is a unique collection and will only be
added to as newly-cataloged material from Mr. Brown's photographs
are processed. Because of this, the user will find that, though the
dates of the photographs range from the 1860s through the 1990s,
the greatest numbers are from the 1900s through the 1930s. All the
photographs are described and have been cataloged according to
dates and subjects. Newly-digitized photographs will be added here
as they are cataloged." Hamilton County, Iowa(427 clicks)
